Hi! I'm Yuliya

I have experience working in large companies, startups, and design agencies. I graduated from Belarusian State University with degrees in Interior Design and Graphic Design. I continue to grow my expertise through hands-on projects and ongoing research practice. Over the past 7+ years in UX/UI and Product Design, I’ve built solutions for mobile apps and web platforms across E-commerce, FinTech, B2B, and B2C sectors.

My strength lies in seeing the bigger picture: I have a deep understanding of users, know how to build scalable design systems, bring clarity to complex interfaces, and balance aesthetics with functionality. I also believe that true innovation happens when different perspectives come together. That’s why I’m always ready to go beyond the conventional process if it helps the team discover a more efficient approach.

I’m passionate about ambitious challenges and products that shape the future today. My goal is to work in an international company where design is a driver of meaningful change. I want to be part of a strong team, build products with global impact, and contribute to the future through intentional design. If my values and approach resonate with you — I’d be happy to explore opportunities to collaborate.

Outside of work, I find inspiration in travel, new people, and diverse cultures. I’m drawn to great food, meaningful conversations, bold ideas, and anything that brings a sense of freedom and zest for life.

In both work and life, I always choose purpose — and I surround myself with people who inspire me to grow and stay open to new possibilities. I truly believe that the most powerful thing any of us can do is choose joy — every time, every single day.

My Approach

  1. Define the Strategy

Design without strategy is like navigating without a map. My decisions are rooted not only in user empathy but also in a deep understanding of product growth. With expertise strengthened by training in Google’s methodology, I collaborate with stakeholders to align user insights with business goals. This enables me to create solutions that bring real value to users and deliver meaningful results for the business.

  1. Learn from Users

Every design decision starts with the user. Through interviews, usability testing, and other research methods, I uncover motivations, needs, and pain points. These insights ground the design process in real-world context and ensure that the product solves meaningful problems.

  1. Work with People

I enjoy bringing diverse perspectives together to create cohesive, thoughtful products. As a product designer, it’s important for me not only to perfect the interface, but to build a process where design, development, and business speak the same language.

  1. Prototype the Interface

Using tools like Figma or Protopie, I create interactive prototypes to validate hypotheses, identify weak spots, and gather feedback early — before development even begins. This helps save resources, prevent costly fixes in production, and launch solutions that have already been tested by real users.
